Trirem’s fundamental business model is based on expansibility which means it expands and contracts its software development staff to meet periods when business grows and recedes. Most of Trirem’s staff are either full- or part-time contract employees who are hired for a specific contract period. Most of these employees are known to Trirem’s owners from previous association. By flexing the development staff, Trirem minimizes personnel costs and permits pricing at or below market rates.
