Hausch Design Agency Brings Bold Visual Identity to 2026 Fresh Coast Jazz Festival

MILWAUKEE, WI — Hausch Design Agency (HDA) is proud to announce its creative partnership with Founder Carl Brown and the 2026 Fresh Coast Jazz Festival, taking place August 20–22, 2026, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at The Pabst Theater. HDA developed the festival's complete 2026 visual theme, including the official poster, lanyards, program, and promotional swag. HDA joins a community of sponsors and partners who make Fresh Coast Jazz Festival possible each year.

Now in its seventh year, Fresh Coast Jazz Festival is far more than a weekend of world-class music — it's “A Party with a Purpose,” a movement dedicated to uplifting youth and enriching lives through the power of music. Thanks to community support, the festival has awarded 14 college scholarships, funded 13 local school music programs, sent more than 100 students to music camps, distributed hundreds of backpacks full of school supplies, created career-day experiences with local companies, and brought comfort to patients at Children's Wisconsin through benefit concerts for them and their families.

HDA designed this year's bold visual identity to match the festival's high energy on stage — and the even bigger impact it makes off stage, in the lives of Milwaukee's youth and families.

“I love contributing to music events like FCJF — much of what HDA put into this festival is time we choose to give, not just work we're hired for — and in turn I feel I am doing something special to support the special work they do for children and families,” said Joe Hausch, Owner and Chief Creative Officer of Hausch Design Agency. “Our missions are very much aligned.”

So busy designing I think we forgot to celebrate!
Belated: International Design Day (formerly World Design Day) is celebrated annually on April 27 to recognize the power of design in transforming our world, promoting sustainability, and driving innovation. Established in 1995, it highlights how design shapes experiences, from architecture to digital UX, across all disciplines.


Key Aspects of International Design Day:
Event Date: April 27, founded in 1963.
2026 Theme: "The spaces in between".

It marks how design can change the world. Design has far-reaching impacts on our daily lives — much more than we realize. It exists in beautiful things around us — décor, artwork, landscaping. Design elevates the mundane, too. From flyers and roads to the chairs we sit on. Have you ever stopped to appreciate the high-tech sports gear you wear? Or the pedestrian path that makes walking such a pleasure? That’s the beauty of good design. It’s meaningful, inspirational, and exists all around us.

Very proud to sponsor Civic Music's Live at the Ivy! Our last "eclectric" music event began with some amazing piano/violin chamber music setting the tone. That was enhanced by a stunning looping electronic cello performance by our friend and Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra's Peter J Thomas. We finished the evening with some romping jazz and rock interpretations by CMM's board member Ben Piette's Fashionably Late.
Join us at The Ivy House, Milwaukee for our next event May 20, 2026 featuring the soulful Paul Cebar Tomorrow Sound in a special solo appearance.

Paul Cebar is an American songwriter, singer, guitarist and bandleader from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who plays African, Latin American and Caribbean music. He has released four albums and an EP with his band, Paul Cebar & the Milwaukeeans, which have received airplay from adult album alternative stations across the US, album with all his bands, including the latest incarnation Paul Cebar and Tomorrow Sound, and a solo album.
Throughout the early 1980s, Cebar was a member of a rock and R&B combo, The R&B Cadets, with Jon Sieger, Mike Sieger, Robyn Pluer, Bob Jennings, Juli Wood and Bob Schneider. The band played Sieger's compositions, with obscure songs from the mid-20th century that Cebar had unearthed.

The R&B Cadets released an album entitled "Top Happy" in 1986

HDA History: Little known fact Joe Hausch partnered with former neighbor and longtime friend/collaborator Gary Haas to become "Hi/Lo Design" in 1985 to work with Paul to design that The R&B Cadets first album "Top Happy".
