Quick question:
Who has access to your website right now?
Not who should have access.
Who actually has access.
Maybe you hired a web designer a few years ago.
A freelancer helped with a contact form.
A marketing agency logged in once.
A former employee still has an account.
If they no longer need access, it’s a good idea to remove it.
Fewer accounts mean fewer opportunities for stolen passwords, forgotten logins, or unauthorized access.

AI is an incredible business tool. But it isn’t a vault.
Last week, headlines made the rounds after some shared AI conversations created in Claude became searchable on Google. Those conversations included everything from API keys and personal information to company data that was never meant for public eyes. The issue involved publicly shared chat links, but it was a good reminder that sensitive information can end up somewhere you didn’t expect. WIRED
Before you paste anything into an AI prompt, ask yourself one question:
Would I be comfortable if someone else saw this?
If the answer is no, don’t paste it.
Instead, use placeholder text like:
• your-password
• your-api-key
• [email protected]
AI can save your business hours every week. Just make sure you’re not accidentally sharing information that should stay private.
The best habit isn’t avoiding AI.

So you pay it.
The problem?
It wasn’t your vendor.

Before paying any invoice with new payment instructions or unexpected changes, stop and verify it.
Call your vendor using a phone number you already have on file, not one listed in the email.

Quick question: Do you actually know everyone who has access to your website? 👀
Over time, website access can pile up.
An old employee. A former web designer. A freelancer who helped with one project. An account created years ago that nobody remembers. Or several people sharing the same administrator login.
Every account with access is another door into your website, and not everyone needs a master key.
Take a few minutes this week to review your website users:
🌱 Remove accounts that are no longer needed.
🌱 Give people only the level of access they actually need.
🌱 Avoid sharing administrator logins.
🌱 Make sure active accounts use strong passwords and multi-factor authentication when available.
Knowing who can get in is part of knowing whether your website is healthy.

Every time you give AI information or ask it to generate a response, tokens are being used.
The goal isn’t to use as few tokens as possible. It’s to use them intentionally.
Good context, clear instructions, and keeping relevant conversations together can help you get better results without creating unnecessary back-and-forth.
Because saving tokens isn’t about saying less.
It’s about giving AI the right information at the right time.
