🚨**Remote access tools under attack**🚨

CISA is warning about active exploitation of BeyondTrust remote access products (CVE-2026-1731).

If you use BeyondTrust for secure remote access, you need to patch immediately and check your logs for signs of compromise.

Three major vendors. Three active exploits. One week. 🚨

Microsoft just released patches for 50+ vulnerabilities, including 6 that attackers are already exploiting in the wild. Google and Apple both dropped emergency patches for their own zero-days in the same window.

Here's what that means in plain terms: if you're running Windows, Chrome, or any Apple device and you haven't updated this week, attackers have a head start on you.

What you can do:
✅ Update Windows (Check for Updates in Settings)
✅ Update Chrome (Settings > About Chrome)
✅ Update your iPhone, iPad, and Mac (Settings > General > Software Update)
✅ Don't wait for "a good time." Do it now.

Cybersecurity isn't just an enterprise problem. It starts with keeping your own devices patched.

🔴 Security Alert: Update Chrome Now 🔥

Google just patched CVE-2026-2441, the first actively exploited Chrome zero-day of 2026. The vulnerability allows attackers to execute code on your machine just by visiting a malicious webpage.

Chrome 145 includes the fix. If you haven't updated yet, you're exposed.

What to do right now:
✅ Open Chrome > Settings > About Chrome > Update
✅ Make sure auto-updates are turned on
✅ Don't assume it updated itself. Check.
This applies to personal and business devices. Attackers aren't picky.

🚨How safe is your use of TikTok and other apps?

If you think the ByteDance paranoia is overblown, here’s the laundry list of data you give up every time you scroll TikTok. Because ByteDance is a Chinese company the Chinese government requires them to share 100% of all data collected:

◾ Your name, age, username, email address, password, phone number and location.

◾ Your IP address, cellphone carrier, time zone, the model of your device and the OS you use.

◾ Biometric identifiers, like facial IDs and voiceprints.

◾ The content of your messages, plus exactly when you send, receive and read them.

◾ If you buy stuff from the TikTop shop, your purchase information, including your credit card numbers, billing and shipping addresses.

◾ Your activities on other websites and apps (or in stores), including info on what you purchased.

◾ File names and types.

◾ Your keystroke patterns and rhythms.

◾ Objects and scenery that show up in your videos, including tourist attractions, shops and other landmarks.

◾ The web pages you visit the most and how you interact with them.

◾ Any text, images and videos on your clipboard.

◾ Information about your videos, images and audio.
