CrowdStrike recently released an update on July 19, 2024, to enhance security, but it unintentionally caused some Windows computers to crash. The issue was swiftly identified and resolved within about an hour, with no cyberattack involved. This bug only impacted Windows systems with a specific version of CrowdStrike's software. I'm thrilled to share that I have accepted a new position as Adjunct Faculty: Computing at African Leadership College Pamplemousses | Mauritius. As a mentor to students' Honours Projects within the Computing degree programme, I'll be guiding them through project ideation, scoping, and ethical considerations.

My role involves delivering timely feedback on student deliverables and managing administrative tasks in accordance with program and institutional policies. I'm grateful for this opportunity to share my knowledge and experience with the students and colleagues at this esteemed institution. It's an honor to be joining such a prestigious institution and contributing to the growth and development of its students.

This is the sister university college to African Leadership University in Rwanda, where Jack Ma, the founder of Ali Baba, is also an adjunct faculty. The goal of the African Leadership University is to educate a generation of ethical and entrepreneurial leaders for the continent and the world. I take this honor and responsibility seriously.
