Our Connect U to Technology: Smart Devices Made Simple program is a hands-on workshop designed to help adults feel more confident with their smartphones, tablets, and everyday technology. You will learn practical skills like texting, taking photos, staying safe online, and troubleshooting common issues.

Jason and Lydia from Connect U, LLC. will be here to answer all of your questions, judgment-free, and offer personal guidance so you can leave feeling more empowered in using your devices.

This free workshop will be held at our Westminster location on Thursday, May 21, from 2 to 3 PM. Registration opens tomorrow, Thursday, May 7, at 9 AM, and can be accessed at the link below.

At Connect U, LLC we believe to serve our community well, we must continue to show up as students ourselves.

This week, our Co-Founder Lydia had the opportunity to attend an incredible Maryland Black Chamber of Commerce seminar right here in Frederick. A special thank you to Vondell Richmond who delivered a powerful, engaging, and informative presentation on business modeling and value proposition. The insights shared were practical, thought-provoking, and applicable. This is the kind of learning that helps businesses grow with intention and clarity.

We’re also grateful for the continued support of the The City of Frederick Department of Economic Development, whose commitment to fostering entrepreneurship and community collaboration makes spaces like this possible.

We left energized and inspired, reminded of why we do this work:
to meet people where they are,
to keep learning so we can serve better,
and to stay connected to the community we love.
