My art is a combination of several styles that influenced me as a young artist. Pop Art, Graffiti, African and other indigenous arts and graphic design have influenced me over the years. My parents had the biggest influence. They nurtured my creativity as a youth by not setting boundaries and allowing me to be me. My artistic, social and political views were and still is shaped by my African Ameri

can heritage and my awareness and love of social and creative revolution. With that said, I often finding myself thinking outside the box, my art is an extension of that thought. Art is my weapon and as I get older, I find myself using it more to express my feelings concerning social and political issues. There is a sense of freedom and power when I create a powerful statement utilizing art in general. It can be a painting, spoken word, a audio mix or a tee shirt. To be able to express myself with a action and the world to see it is a high! I want to share that passion with the world and ESOTERIC URBANISM is my vehicle to do it.
