A weekend's worth of work, laid out.

Two custom water maps and a family recipe board, hand cut and engraved right here in my studio. Whether it's a place that means something or a recipe that's been passed down for generations, it all starts the same way: someone tells me their story, and I figure out how to make it permanent.

This recipe board started as a handwritten card for Chocolate Poodle Cookies, now burned into cherry wood, ready to be passed down again.

I’ve been making these maps for five years, and I still stop and stare every time the last layer goes on.

There’s something about taking a place, somewhere that actually means something to someone, and turning it into something they can hang on their wall forever. That never gets old for me.

This is Casco Bay, Maine. One of the first maps off my new laser since moving to Connecticut and relaunching NDH Designs. Every layer is cut, painted, and assembled by hand, just me, in my studio in Enfield, CT.

Small size is 12” x 19.5”, large is 23.5” x 18.5”. Any lake, bay, river, or coastline. Custom orders are open.
