We have been preparing for this moment since January 2020 when we introduced our Municipal Package. Long before the federal ADA accessibility rules were finalized, we knew this shift was coming and built a program specifically for municipalities, libraries, and transit agencies.
Over the past year, and especially as deadlines approach, many of our municipal partners have joined. Our SEO Team is deep in the work of accessibility audits, structural updates, content improvements, and ongoing monitoring across public sector websites.

ADA INFORMATION:
In 2024, the U.S. Department of Justice finalized new ADA Title II Accessibility Rules requiring all state and local governments, including public libraries and transit agencies, to make their websites fully accessible under WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
ADA DEADLINES:
April 24, 2026 – Governments serving populations of 50,000 or more
April 26, 2027 – Governments serving populations under 50,000
April 26, 2027 – Special District Governments such as public libraries, public transit agencies, water, sewer, parks and recreation departments
