So finally got around to getting the board back working with some real amplifier power to test the Octiv subs. This is a pair of the better 12” just ripping on 2500 watts. Which is over rated power. For a $168 12” these are just ridiculous. Might have to figure out a way to secure that box down.😂

The new Octiv Model 1 12” just showed up last Monday. So I took the week to beat the sh@t out of a pair. At $122 each and a slightly conservative power rating these are going to trash anything in this price range. And this video is only on 1300 watts.

Next models in the Octiv lineup arrived yesterday. Will have some more detailed info in the next few days but 8 and 4 gauge Oversized Silver Tinned OFC amp kits, the Series 1 12” budget friendly sub that will terrorize anything in its price range and now a Series 2 15” to match the 12” I have had since earlier this year. Next batch of those will be ordered soon and with the price of 0 gauge OFC just being nuts probably going to bring in 50ft spools at way less per foot than anyone out there. The whole purpose of all of this is to eliminate the middle man at scale to save my customers some $$$$

2018 Toyota Tacoma. Customer just wanted a bigger screen with Apple Car Play and some low end. So we added the Sony XAV-AX8500 using the Maestro system. Then for the sub we made an enclosure for a single JL 10TW3 powered by an MTX TN500. First time I have built an enclosure for one of these. I have always used the JL stealthbox in the past but the cost for me to build one was 1/3rd of the price.

Customers son just wanted CarPlay but dad is an old school bass head and had a Sundown Salt 1700.5 laying around so we put it to good use. Did the JVC modular radio using the Maestro APX kit to install the new screen in place of the factory and still have the motorization work. Added all new JL highs and brought in the low end with a pair of my brand Octiv 12” in an enclosure we made to still be able to fit his son’s golf gear.
