Good afternoon! Recently, we had a customer who asked the question, “what is currently the best antivirus software”? This also had us curious as well to find out which antivirus software is currently leading in the market! After a bit of research, we have come to a conclusion with our own results of what we believe is the best antivirus software available as of right now.

Good morning! We would like to address to you the recent increase of computer phone scams. "Technical support" phone scams have been around since early 2008 but we have noticed a recent influx in the amount of people being called by these scammers.

Here is how the scam works, you will receive a phone call from "Microsoft India Tech Support" saying they have found issues with your computer, claiming its running slow and has a virus infection. From here the scammer will have you open the "Event Viewer" which is a complicated logging system that monitors your computer system. They will trick you into believing you have several "damaging" errors that need fixed immediately. At this point, they are hoping to have you scared enough to let them have access to your computer so they can "fix" the problem.

However, the moment you allow an unwanted stranger into your computer you are compromising everything you have saved on the system to them! This includes banking information, pictures, documents and passwords! Some of the scammers we have dealt with will actually lock the computer system for ransom; unless you pay them.

We also urge you not allow strangers into your computer system and if you receive any phone calls regarding your computer system, be cautious!

Hello, our friends from Fremont City News Page! Great Lakes Internet Service & Computer Loft are having a customer appreciation drawing for our 33 years in business! Here is a brief introduction of what our business is about. We specialize in Computer repair, networking, remote and on-site tech support, service for residential and businesses. Other services we offer include, Internet service Wi-Fi and DSL High Speed Service, domain registration, web hosting, web design, home phone service, and alarm security system instillations. As of recently, we have started doing cell phone repairs for broken screens.

Our business has a rich history of over 30+ years, serving the Fremont and surrounding areas. To this day we still provide high quality service with an emphasis on customer satisfaction.
