I'm not plus or minus AI as I see both sides of it, but this quote and article outlines pretty well how I feel about how it can aid creators.

"Prompting, the act of coaxing AI into creativity with phrases, camera instructions, and style descriptions, has never been about the words alone. The best work I’ve seen in this space combines AI with real craftsmanship: Blender, 3D models, digital painting, and days in editing suites. The prompt becomes one piece in a larger puzzle."

Everyone is losing their mind over Canva releasing Affinity for "free," but as always there are a few catches. This video really summarizes them well but the tl;dw version is you need a Canva premium subscription to access ANY AI driven tools and the photo editing isn't exactly a Lightroom competitor.

Absolutely awesome logo presentation. Thoughtful and made with indigenous partnership. An amazing brand that stands alone, but still fits in with the rest of the the Indiana franchises as well. Not a fan and have never been to Indy....but I might need to grab some swag. 👏👏👏

Interesting to see the worry of the snake eating its own tail at Adobe (which is essentially what AI is already doing as it is using AI images to generate more AI images).

"...the problem isn’t just as simple as deciding if it’s good for jobs or not. Adobe makes software for design professionals and if those people don’t have jobs, who buys Adobe software?"

AI has the potential to cannibalize the company's users.
