As we get closer to the "end of support" for Windows 10 I want to remind everyone that it won't turn into a pumpkin on October 14th.
Microsoft has offered the first year of extended security updates for free, just remember to enroll in the extended support. Until users migrate more to newer versions of the OS other programs may also continue supporting Windows 10. The images below are a screenshot from one of our own computers showing the option to extend support for a year. This option was supposed to show up for everyone Mid August but most of our devices are only finally showing the option in the last couple of weeks.
To find this option you need to:
• Go to Settings (most easily found above the power button in the start menu)
• Click on Update & Security
• You should see a message about support ending (as show in the first picture)
• Click on Enroll now
• Follow the prompts to continue.
