Radiologists are doing more than interpreting images — they’re redefining how care gets delivered.

On the BackTable Industry podcast, Dr. Woojin Kim explores the rise of non-interpretive AI in radiology. These tools don’t read scans — they transform how practices operate from patient flow to communication and reporting.

The future of radiology isn’t just about what AI can see. It’s shaped by how well practices integrate intelligent tools into their workflows.

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we spotlighted some patient education from Know Your Lemons Foundation — a global leader in breast health education.

This week, we’re highlighting their Screening Partner Program and CE course for mammography technologists. Their educational materials are proven to help imaging centers boost screening rates. And we want to help get those materials to more facilities and into the hands of more patients.

We’re proud to collaborate with organizations like Know Your Lemons that help close knowledge gaps — for both patients and providers.

👉 Learn more about our partnership and access their educational materials in our latest blog post: https://magview.com/blog/magview-partners-with-know-your-lemons/

Every woman’s breast cancer risk is unique and understanding yours can make all the difference.

Understanding your breast cancer risk can determine:

✅ When to start screening
✅ Whether you may need additional imaging

Quick Facts: Breast Cancer Early Detection

Every woman deserves to understand her breast health. The more we know, the more likely we are to ask questions and take action. Here are a few important facts that every woman (and provider) should know:

1️⃣ 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.
2️⃣ Annual mammograms starting at age 40 are recommended for women at average risk
3️⃣ Dense breast tissue can make cancers harder to see on a mammogram — but additional imaging like an MRI can help.
4️⃣ Risk assessment by age 25 helps identify women who may need screening earlier and additional imaging.
5️⃣ Early detection saves lives — finding cancer at an earlier stage often means more treatment options and better outcomes.

Let’s keep spreading awareness, sharing education, and helping more women take charge of their health. 💕

This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re highlighting educational tools that help close gaps in breast health — for both women and providers.

Today, we’re spotlighting a very real part of early detection: insurance coverage for supplemental screening.

For women with dense breasts or higher-than-average risk, additional imaging — like ultrasound or MRI — may be recommended beyond a standard mammogram. But coverage for these supplemental screenings varies from state to state.

Our educational partner, DenseBreast-info, Inc., created an interactive map showing state-by-state insurance laws for supplemental screening. This map helps you understand what is or isn't covered in your state.

🎗️ Do you know your breast cancer risk?

Understanding your risk is the first step toward early detection and personalized screening.

👉 You can ask your doctor for a formal risk assessment, or get started today with a free self-assessment: magview.com/ibis-risk-calculator

💡 What’s next? Soon, AI tools will be able to assess risk directly from mammogram images—unlocking insights that current question-based models can’t always capture and helping to close important gaps in risk prediction.

➡️ As the Society of Breast Imaging recommends:

Annual mammograms at 40 for women at average risk

Risk assessment by age 25 to identify women who may need earlier or additional screening

Because when women understand their unique risk, screening can be tailored—and lives can be saved.
