It got a virus of some sort and I could not figure out how the heck I was going to get rid of it and why or how my computer got it. I didn't understand them, actually disliked them and didn't ever understand how integral they would later become in everyone's life. That being said, when I got the virus, and couldn't figure out how or why; I thought I'd simply have to buy another computer. It was at
this time I called a friend of mine, and during our conversation I said, "I think I have to buy another computer, mine seems to have crashed and burned". My friend told me to let him take a look at the computer and he'd fix it for me. Here was the tricky part and the genesis of MCHelper. He lived in Montreal and I told him that I would send my computer to him, buy another one and he could send the old one back fixed and I'd just use it as a backup computer. He said, no, he would get on my computer "remotely". I thought he was crazy. I had never heard of this. Again, this was about 10 years ago. Anyway, he took over my computer and fixed it in about 30 minutes. I was astounded. I thought to myself; here's an idea of how to help people. There are many more people like me than my friend and they need help with their computers. So, about 9 years ago, MCHelper was started. We've helped people in 10 or so different countries, have an A+ rating with the BBB and a fantastic staff that is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
