We would like to address the recent Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruling regarding Pennsylvania Skill Games.

Like many small businesses, organizations, and communities across the Commonwealth, we are disappointed by the Court’s decision. We believe skill games have provided meaningful support to local businesses, veteran organizations, fraternal clubs, nonprofits, and family-owned establishments throughout Pennsylvania. While we respectfully disagree with the ruling, we remain committed to following all applicable laws and regulations.

We are encouraged that the Court’s decision includes a 120-day period before taking effect. We believe this provides an important opportunity for lawmakers, business owners, community organizations, and industry representatives to work together toward a fair and practical solution.

Now more than ever, it is important for those affected by this decision to speak up. We encourage you to contact your local state representatives and senators and share how skill games have benefited your business, organization, employees, and community. Personal stories and local perspectives can help legislators better understand the real-world impact of this ruling.

We are pleased to share three Enhancements/Changes to your Sienna POS Ticket System. Enhancement #1 is mandatory, while #2 and #3 are optional, and some customers may need updated POS and/or Office units. PartnerTech has also notified us of a price increase effective June 1, 2026.

We plan to begin updates on Monday, June 22nd, and will contact you beforehand to ensure you are okay with us updating. Updates will occur in the order customers originally joined our Sienna POS Ticket System family.

1. Mandatory IRS W2G Threshold Update

The IRS has increased the 2026 W2G reporting threshold to $2,000.

• Any 2026 W2Gs under $2,000 are not required and may be removed.
• Do not remove previous years’ forms.
• Do not submit 2026 W2Gs unless winnings exceed $2,000. Future thresholds will adjust annually for inflation, and we will update your system accordingly.

This change is part of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA).

In keeping with our commitment to staying current with IRS regulations and the gaming laws of Pennsylvania, Ohio, Virginia, and New York, we have already implemented the new $2,000 W2G reporting threshold in our system. Several of our BETA customers are using this updated version, which prompts to create a W2G form only when a member of your organization wins $2,000 or more.

2. Optional Door Access Integration

We have integrated with Frederick Lock & Key’s Door Access System.

You may now manage membership, drawings, and Frederick Lock & Key’s Door Access System from one unified database.

3. Optional Heartland Credit Card Integration

We have completed integration with Heartland Payment Systems (Global Payments).

We recommend the VeriFone T650P or T650C for processing. A new Technology Fee option allows you to offset credit card processing costs.
