About a year and a half ago, we loaned our 500 Series 80B gear to the awesome Fremont Recording to compare with their beloved vintage 80B console....

Love love love the 80B 500 series gear on loan from the kind folks at Trident. Arguably BETTER than the original 80B preamps and eqs on the console here at Fremont Recording. I adore the LED buttons and the totally silent operation. The EQ is super natural and easy to use just like the original. Two thumbs up. The only thing is I’d like the labels to be backlit for easier reading. The 500 stuff always has tough shadows.
