Whether you want to call it an error, a logjam or a #!!%^$***&% and a half! Your computer does have finite resources. When it becomes "overworked" by 900 open tabs (where IS that music coming from anyway?) a reboot will clear the RAM and get you back to Start. Like a rat in a maze, sometimes its easier to pick up and start over than continue running blind.

A reboot refreshes your system and gets everything back to start.
