In today's world, we have some many things online. It's important that for our older generation, you share your information with loved ones. If they have a phone, be their backup if they have forgotten a password.

Apple and Google "Protect Users " by making it difficult for someone to wipe your data and then use the device.

Equally annoying is forgetting your password, and the only way to reset it is to use an older device that may or may not work.

Keep your passwords safe and accessible when needed. Its sad to see someone lose everything to the cloud because they don't have that one piece of information.

Backup anything that you want to keep. Have it be offline.

Subject: ⚠️ Windows Update Advisory – August 2025

Hi,

I wanted to let you know that Microsoft’s August 2025 Windows update (KB5063878) has caused issues on multiple systems, including:

Loss of Wi-Fi or Ethernet connectivity

External drives preventing startup

Internal drives not being detected

General driver instability after reboot

If you’ve noticed any unusual behavior since the last update, you’re not alone — this is affecting users across the country. Microsoft is working on a fix, but in the meantime, I recommend:

Avoid installing new updates until further notice

Restart your system if a drive isn’t detected

Contact me if you lose internet access or experience boot issues
