Every institution we talk to is thinking about AI.
But here's something worth pausing on: AI is only as powerful as the data foundation beneath it.
If your data is scattered across disconnected systems, AI can't help. If customer or member information is inconsistent (different spellings, duplicate records, missing fields), AI will amplify those problems at greater speed and scale.
Ron Shevlin from Cornerstone Advisors put it well: "Banks and credit unions that rush into an AI strategy without improving their data quality are going to learn an expensive lesson: garbage in, garbage out, at faster and greater scale."
The institutions doing this right are getting the sequence right. Foundation first. Intelligence layer second.
Our newest blog unpacks what that actually looks like in practice. Read now: https://hubs.li/Q04jj6080
