Part Five: Today we installed Controller, wired everything up, and assembled everything. We are just waiting on front wheel for completion. This thing is a beast.... Features: 60V 20Ah Lithium Battery, 60V 2000Watt Motor and Controller. Cycplus computer/Speedo. Upgraded 190mm Shock to lift and improve suspension. Keyed Throttle with voltage display. Custom paint, custom graphics, and more.... As soon as Front wheel arrives this beast will be available for sale in store...

Part Four:
Today we wired 3 speed switch. We swapped out old Razor power switch and replaced it with the 3 speed rocker. Wired Charger to use the same Razor Charge jack. We also added the GPS Speedo/Computer. We added the Graphics. You can start to get a feel for what the finished product will look like. Later today we will add the new upgraded shock to give it a great ride and lift it. The only thing left to do next week is add the front wheel (waiting for new one to arrive), mount controller, finalize wiring, and finish assembly.

Part Three:
We began assembly. First, we mounted motor to swing arm. Then we mounted swing arm to frame. We attached Chain Tensioner, Chain, and Rear Wheel. Next, we mounted forks, Handlebars, Front Fender, Number Plate. We then added brake levers, throttle, and handgrip. Finally, we added Brake Calipers, ran the brake lines, and Mock Tank. The final step today was mounting the 60V 20Ah Lithium Battery. Next week we will be adding the controller, wiring, battery covers, and front wheel. Lastly we will add the custom graphics.

Part Two: Started by cutting part of frame to modify upper battery tray into Controller Shelf. We also cut lower battery tray to fit new 60V 20Ah battery. Now, everything will be properly and securely mounted. Next, we Cleaned and prepped frame for paint. Finally, we painted frame to match new custom graphics. Next, we will begin the assembly process.

Part 1 - Razor MX500/MX650 Upgrade-Mods:
Step One: Take completely down to the frame.
Step Two: Once you have down to the bare frame first thing is to give it a very thorough cleaning to remove any dirt, grease, and oils.
Step Three: At this point you want to lay out your controller/battery etc. See how it will be mounted. This will tell you if you need to cut or modify the frame. NEVER proceed beyond this point if you do not have at least you Controller, Motor, and Battery. Always keep in mind,,, do it right the first time. I see countless "YouTube Videos" and almost all of them are done very amateurish, poorly, and potentially very dangerously. In most cases it would have actually been cheaper and easier just to do it correctly first time. I strongly advise against using "zip ties, electrical tape", as your means of assembly. Solder connections not poorly crimped. Install connectors instead of splicing.
Step Four: If you plan on painting the frame (as we are on this build) - you NEED to give the frame a good sanding. This does two things: gives the paint a better surface to adhere to. It also further removes oils, grease, dirt, and so on. Take your time, be thorough, any spot you miss will potentially chip/peel, etc.
Step Five: After you have done that, clean it again.
