We are happy to announce that, along with a new revision of our control system, we will be offering a plug and play breakout board to simplify your wiring!

The breakout will include relays for things like; horn, bell, amplifier, and more. Fused outputs, diagnostic lights, and optional dry contacts for outputs! Clean up your wiring and make troubleshooting a breeze!

Updates to the ILC controllers include:

- Added electrical protections for a more robust unit
- Slowed down data speeds for more reliable and longer distance control (does not negatively affect responsiveness of the controls)
- Fixed issue with wired MU direction control
- New leed unit line terminator (leed dongle)

Due to some technical changes all future ILC controllers will be incompatible with previous versions.

Today we did some extensive testing of our wireless MU modules. We were able to put a fully powered DPU at the rear of a 20 car train without issue. Both locomotives ran smooth. Maintaining speed and power was very easy. No derails as a result of the DPU (one car picked a switch point while in the yard).

We have one modification to make to the modules and then a little more testing before they can become availible.

We finally have the 2nd SD40 running and were able to do some testing for our wireless MU. So far we are very happy with the results!

Big news! Sometime next week we should have a prototype wireless mu bridge for our ILC6 series controllers ready for test! We will keep you posted on how testing goes and when these will become availible!

We are working on our wireless MU! Soon we will have the ability to wirelessly mu multiple locomotives with our control system using a matched pair of our wireless MU bridge!

Due to current technical problems we are unable to directly MU locos. This is our solution to that problem!

Testing will begin the end of october.
