In DevExpress v26.1, a Detail View for a new scheduler/calendar appointment now respects the option and opens a full-sized form as a separate tab. Previously, a narrow popup form opened.

Popup Detail Views are now wider and no longer override the default layout caption positions. For example, we display layout item captions to the left of the associated editors (DxFormLayout.CaptionPosition = Horizontal in v26.1 instead of Vertical in previous versions).

Both changes are done for general usability and consistency - XAF developers and end users will have a more predictable behavior across screens and less heuristics.

Another small / enhancement in v26.1 for the Copy Predefined Report command, which was overlooked until recently: it is now easier to distinguish the source and copied reports by an auto-increment/index (like we all used to do when renaming duplicated files in a file system).

v26.1 activates the native Blazor Filter Builder (new PopupCriteriaPropertyEditor) and the Filter Panel for filtered List Editors by default. Currently, in v25.2 & earlier versions, you can detect filtered columns by the bold 'funnel' icon in the UI, but the Filter Panel additionally simplifies .

v25.2.5+ supports 10 . The new Template Kit also uses EF Core 10 when .NET 10 is selected. We also updated our EF Core 10 vs XPO performance benchmarks (https://github.com/DevExpress-Examples/XAF_Security_E4908/tree/25.2.5%2B/Benchmarks).

Our MainDemo.NET.EFCore will also use EF Core 10 and .NET 10 in v26.1 (not available in v25.2 yet, because .NET 10 requires the new Visual Studio 2026, which is yet to be adopted by most users).
