Nancy and Bill Turner brought the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall and 9/11 Memorial Wall to Glens Falls. It’s on display now through August 23 in Crandall Park and it is incredibly moving. The opening ceremony is tomorrow, Friday, August 21, at 10 a.m. Whether you’ve lived through it or just heard about it, this is a must see. Bring tissues. It was an honor working on the advertising and publicity for this project, and I am so appreciative of this power couple and all of the hard work they do for our community and their vision in bringing this here to us.

Congratulations to Kate’s mentor Jacky Touba on publishing her book, The Adventures of Ruslan and Ludmila! It was an honor to design the cover using her painting and to lay out the book, which was published at Glens Falls Printing. The works from the book are now on display at Crandall Public Library upstairs next to the North Country ARTS Juried Photography exhibition. The reception for both the book and the show was tonight and very well attended!
