The first meeting costs $25. We’ll leave that meeting with a to-do list, divvied up for you and for Advokate depending on what kind of marketing dollars you’re working with.

Jaiden is graduating from Glens Falls High School! We have enjoyed getting to know her so much during her internship at Advokate. She has been with us since the fall in perhaps the longest running internship we have had to date. She is launching her real estate business after graduation so look for her out and about in the community soon! We are so proud of Jaiden and happy for her. And we are about to introduce our incoming summer intern Aliveah, also pictured here. Stay tuned for her big introduction soon!

That horn of yours ain’t gonna toot itself! Working today on Dr. Jacquiline Touba’s new book, The Adventures of Ruslan and Ludmila. It’s an epic fairy tale, translated and illustrated by our very own Jacky with 20 original works, which will be on display at this summer. The reception is July 9, 5-7 p.m. This story is wild, featuring an evil sorcerer, a talking severed head and a magical turban that makes you invisible.

Wonderful time at the International Cuisine tonight! The Brazilian dancer here was hand drawn by Kate and she designed the invitations and created the branding for the event. Such an important institution in our community, working to bring our diverse world to children. This is where real change starts, realizing what makes us different and what things we have in common and celebrating world cultures. Thank you to Bethanie and her amazing team and board for another wonderful gala and for all the work they do every day.
