Amazon Fire TV Stick Myth's vs Facts

Myth: Amazon fire tv stick can be jailbroken.

Fact: Jailbroken or jailbreaking is a term applied only to Apple products. Amazon's fire tv stick's can not be jailbroken as they are not an apple product.

This term has been misappropriated with the android community by firestick users. To jailbreak a friestick is impossible being that is has no security features that Apple products have. The correct term of use for a Firestick is to unlock the adb function which takes less than 3 seconds to do and it's like turning off a light switch to your bedroom. There is no skill set or software to install or connecting it to a computer to do this task. This is not illegal, Amazon has the feature built into their settings.

Windows 11, will it upgrade your computer on it's official release date?

That depends on how Microsoft rolls it out and where, they won't be auto installing every computer on Oct 5th, it will take them until early 2022 to complete the auto roll out. Also, not all computers will qualify for the upgrade as they have made the requirements mostly towards newer computers and some older ones that have the hardware specific requirements. They are working on older models, but I'm not sure how far back they will go as there are as I mentioned, certain hardware requirements that need to be met.

One FAQ that has been asked among techs is, can I upgrade through Windows Update? Microsoft's answer is if your computer meets the required specifications, then yes, if not, then no.

Another FAQ is, if I don't like it can I go back to my Windows 10? Microsoft is giving 1 week to do so once Windows 11 has been installed.

Another FAQ that has been asked is, if I pass the 1 week time limit and decided I want to go back to Windows 10, can I? The answer to that is, yes, but you will be starting from factory and all your files will be lost, so back them up first.
