That's a wrap folks! Follow My Vote's journey on the road to launching an elections-grade open-source blockchain voting system has officially come to an end. Our goal was to develop voting software capable of bringing truth and transparency to political elections, on a global level, on behalf of the people.
When we kicked things off, hardly anyone knew what blockchain was, let alone blockchain voting. Now, blockchain voting is seen as a no-brainer by many when it comes to the topic of modernizing election systems technology. Yet, there are some very real challenges standing in the way of mass adoption.
Solving this problem won't be done by one person, one company, or even one nation; and, it may be a problem that takes several years, decades, or even generations to tackle. But, we firmly believe that we, as a people, will get there. How fast this actually happens will all depend on the will of the people.
As a way of passing the torch to the next generation of pioneers that might want to take it from here, our Co-founder and CEO, Adam Ernest, has carefully crafted our last blog post, which outlines the challenges standing in the way of blockchain voting adoption and what the people of the Earth can do about it. It also recaps our progress toward realizing our vision, while giving away all of our intellectual property and the tricks of the trade we learned along the way!
