Cyberlink Computing LLC, of Grand Blanc, is a growing IT support company that serves as the backbone of support for local Michigan small businesses. Currently Cyberlink is looking to add an entry level support technician(paying up to $50/hour based on abilities and experience) to its roster of talented staff. This position is part-time as/needed for the time being, but will most likely lead to full-time as the company continues to grow at its current pace.

Suitable applicants should possess:

-At least two years of college experience in an IT related program
-Industry certifications a plus(Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, etc.)
-General knowledge of networking and ability to troubleshoot them
-General knowledge of Web browsers and their components and ability to troubleshoot them
-General knowledge of Windows 10, and 11 based operating systems and the ability to troubleshoot them. (Apple or Linux/Unix OS knowledge is a plus.)
-General knowledge of IT Security including the use of Firewalls, Antivirus, and misc. software tools to monitor network traffic
-General Hardware knowledge of Windows based PC's, Laptops, and Tablets and the ability to troubleshoot, replace, and/or repair hardware components
-General knowledge of Microsoft Office products and their uses

-Possess their own transportation
-Be able to work from home, our office, or at the clients business site
-Can work independently with or without supervision
-Ability to communicate effectively via email, phone, or in person to clients and staff
-A superior positive attitude
-Presentable appearance for the business/office setting

The number of unwanted text messages is skyrocketing. RoboKiller says that last September, scammers sent about 1.2 billion spam text messages. Now, they’re sending close to 11 billion a month!

HELPFUL HINT - To block texts from unknown numbers on your phone, go to the “Settings” app. On an iPhone, click on activate “Filter Unknown Senders.” On Android, click on “Spam Protection” and then enable it.
