So my son knows more about PCs than I've shown him. Super smart with them, so I decided it was time to get him his own!

It’s mining week over here!

Main rig is going 24/7 with the second card being an RX480 8GB and the 1080ti.

We also were given an RX580 4GB!

In other news, the main rig has gotten a bit of an upgrade. Went from a 27” 1440p144hz 1ms Panel to a 35” UltraWide 1440p100hz 1ms panel. God this thing is HUGE

Found this desk on sale at Office Depot. List was 429.99, on sale for 299.99. I thought a lot then finally pulled the trigger.

Let me tell you, this took forever to get assembled. Two nights. I still have to get my workbench reorganized and done but god was this worth it. Such a solid piece. I’ve never been more happy with a desk than I am now.

Facebooks gonna butcher this quality.

But here’s the first step in the “mobile” PC upgrade. Went to a Cooler Master HAF XB Evo Lan Box. Changed the CPU cooler from a NZXT x63 to a Noctua NH-U12S. Decided yesterday it’s just a tad bit too loud.. So I ordered 2 140mm Noctua fans, 1 120mm and an 80mm for the underside. I can’t wait to get this thing all done so I can start adding mods to it via 3D printing!

Update post!

So the Cooler Master HAF XB Evo is on it's way. Should be here next week. We're going top of the line on cooling and jamming this case full of Noctua 2200rpm PWM fans(Who doesn't love that brown)

CPU is going back to basics with a Noctua NH-12S 120mm tower cooler. I miss the efficiency of the coolers. I can't wait to get this build done. I am SO over carrying 54lbs of PC twice a week to a good buddies place.

Also, picked myself up a new electric screwdriver, my wrists get tired after a long night of modding PCs.
