The has received calls in the last couple of days from people saying that someone has called them posing as a GJPD employee. The caller states that the victim has a warrant and must pay money to avoid being arrested. THIS IS A SCAM. We will NEVER call to demand money, FOR ANY REASON. These scammers are trying to scare you into thinking you're going to be arrested. You're not. They're liars. DON'T GIVE THEM MONEY OR FINANCIAL INFORMATION. Protect yourself and your hard-earned money. Hang up.
