Todd Wm Gibson of Kentwood Michigan passed unexpectedly into the loving arms of Jesus Christ on Monday June 20th, 2022. He was born February 13, 1958, the son of his mother Marilyn R Lyon, who he has now joined.
Agape love, scripture refers it to a pure, willful, sacrificial love that intentionally desires another’s highest good regardless of the person. He believed in the best of all and believed everyone can change no matter how bad they are. He often said, “You never know what one may hear or read that will change their life. Never give up!”
Todd adored his girls, especially his dog Stela. He is survived by his lovely wife Camille Gibson and his amazing beautiful daughters Sue, Sarah and Staci, supporting Mother-in-law Carolyn Swanson, sister-in-laws Ann Burks and Stephanie Stefanich and brother in-law Edward Swanson along with many nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles and friends who he held tightly in his heart.
Todd was an amazing guitarist, he would play for hours and hours, his children and wife never went a day without hearing his sweet guitar lullabies. He ministered to those suffering from crack co***ne addiction for over 20 years. His websites, books and music that have changed the lives of many, never looking to be in the spotlight, he was a humble servant for Jesus Christ. Todd also enjoyed studying herbal medicine and natural healing. Genesis 9:3 Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything.
There will be a time of sharing and remembrance of Todd’s life from 5pm-6pm followed by a Eulogy Service by Randy Finchum at 6pm-7pm. Services will be held at Ofield Funeral Home located at 4500 Kalamazoo Kentwood MI 49508. There is a small family dinner being held after the service at Drury Hotel 5175 28th st SE Grand Rapids, MI 49512. If you need a room you can book one with the hotel directly.
