Social Box, as promised, is ready to accept sign ups! However, due to the shortness of programmers, certain features are going to take slightly longer to be launched than planned. I know, we're disappointed too... In the meantime, you can go, create your Social Box account, and check in and vote on features you like, don't like, and would like to be added. You can also use the features that will be up, as promised, by 5:00 PM, which is basic things like liking, disliking, commenting, status updating, uploading pictures, videos, and music, and some features of the social integration platform. Nevertheless, Social Box will be 100% up and running by July 25, 2014 at 12:00 AM, UTC.

Social Box connects people, places, and ideas through various web services; it brings your favorite content to you, when and where you want it.

With the official opening of Social Box for sign ups tomorrow, we're anticipating a lot of new users. Today was a good day at Social Box :) We've been working diligently, and now have our server space set up. Hello world! This is Tim, from the Social Box developers team, and I'd like to post a few new updates. The Social Box was put on hold a while ago, because it was deemed impossible to run the site to the full standards a user would have because of a lack of proper equiptment. However, we all now agree that our equiptment is now equipped to handle all of our users at once, so we will are now going to start over. The Social Box is going to be renamed; We're dropping the, "The", on, "The Social Box". The domain name, thesocialbox.net, will remain the same. Until we make this change, all of our sites and services will remain unchanged. There will also be a Social Box app available on the Apple, Android, and Windows marketplaces. We expect the full change to be completed by the end of July. Updates will continue to be posted here. Thank you for your continued dedication and please, enjoy The Social Box :)

Today programmers will be working on ENS, or the Event Notification System. ENS combines all of your notifications, similar to if you have all of your social networking sites up in different tabs in different browsers. Like if you like using acronyms.
