For our latest event, our team partnered with BackPack Beginnings to help sort and tally clothing donations. We focused on quality control, ensuring each item met the standards to be passed along to local families in need.

BackPack Beginnings is a nonprofit dedicated to connecting children and their families with the necessities required to thrive—providing food, clothing, school supplies, and comfort items to support their well-being both at home and in school.

Big thanks to BackPack Beginnings for having us and for all they do to support families in need. We were honored to play a small part in their big impact!

Because Beacon is passionate about serving our neighbors, we made it our Q2 mission for our initiative.

To start this quarter of service, our team spent a rewarding day volunteering with AuthoraCare Collective in Greensboro, NC—a local organization dedicated to providing compassionate hospice and palliative care.

With spring in full swing, we got to work giving their Hospice Home Gardens a well-deserved refresh: w**ding the gardens, picking up trash, w**d eating, and spreading several tons of gravel dust to help create a peaceful and welcoming environment for patients and their families.

We're proud to support AuthoraCare's meaningful work in our community and even prouder of our team for showing up with energy, care, and commitment.

Last month, our team rolled up their sleeves and partnered with FIRST North Carolina, the organization behind the FIRST Robotics Competition in NC.

We helped set up a battle arena for a statewide event that brought together students to showcase their innovation, teamwork, and passion for robotics.

Beacon cares deeply about supporting STEM education and hands-on learning, and it was an honor to be a small part of an event helping to shape the next generation of thinkers and leaders.

This month, we had the chance to attend the AOG Living Leadership Conference in San Antonio, TX. The event kicked off with a fun icebreaker and ended with us making some new connections! From start to finish, the AOG team made us feel right at home and went above and beyond to help us get our table set up.

We left feeling energized after catching up with our marketing partners, meeting AOG’s Regional & Community Managers, and connecting with some of the other vendors at the event.

Thanks again to Allied Orion Group Living for having us. We couldn’t have asked for a better cocktail mixer, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit to the Alamo City. Till next time! 🙌

Last week, we had the pleasure of visiting the Black Child Development Institute Greensboro for the third consecutive year! BCDI plays a crucial role in supporting underserved children and youth in Greensboro through after-school and summer programs.

We had an incredible time reading with the kids and leading a craft inspired by Shel Silverstein’s The Giving Tree, bringing its beautiful message of generosity and kindness to life. 📚💚🌳

A heartfelt thank you to BCDI for welcoming us and for the amazing work you do to uplift the Greater Greensboro Community. We can’t wait to be back! 🙏✨

We're concluding Q1 in our favorite way—with our friends at the North Carolina Technology Association! Our leadership team had a wonderful time attending Brews + Bytes in Wilmington, as well as the Tech Leaders Reception at the NC Executive Mansion in Raleigh. We were honored to celebrate NC Tech's 32nd anniversary and meet special guests Governor Josh Stein, Lieutenant Governor Rachel Hunt, and State CIO Teena Piccione. It was a pleasure to reconnect with familiar faces at the State of Technology Industry Report (STIR) briefing, where we gained insight into the future of our industry.

Thanks again to NC Tech and to all of the attendees! We can't wait for our next opportunity to raise a glass to North Carolina's tech industry! 🍻
