Broke in the new studio today, and yeah… this is exactly what I built it for.

For years Vision Studios has created almost everything outdoors or on location, but today we got to shut the doors, control every piece of light, add some atmosphere and just CREATE. No weather. No chasing daylight. No trying to make a location work. Just an athlete, a camera and a room built specifically to make something different.

This is just the first one.

Sports media. Custom Sportraits. Media days. Travel teams. Seniors. Headshots. Branding. Minis. We’re still mobile and we’re still shooting outdoors, but now we’ve got another weapon in the bag.

INTRODUCING SENIOR STORIES | VISION STUDIOS

I've been sitting on this idea for a minute, and I'm finally ready to bring it to life.

Senior photography has always been about capturing a season of life that goes by way too fast. But I started thinking... what if we could capture more than what your senior looks like right now? What if we could capture who they actually ARE?

That's Senior Stories.

Maybe your senior is a farm kid. Maybe they're always in the garage working on something. Maybe their whole world is football, cheer, basketball, theater, music, gaming, hunting, fishing, art or being somewhere outside. Whatever their thing is, we're going to build an experience around it.

We're taking everything we already do with senior photography and combining it with cinematic 4K filmmaking in the same session. You'll walk away with 30 professionally edited senior images AND a cinematic Senior Story built around their personality, their interests and this chapter of their life.

There are some incredibly talented photographers in our area doing amazing work. This isn't about saying we're better than anybody else. That's never been the goal.

But nobody around here is doing seniors quite like we're about to do them.

This is the lane we're creating.

For years, Vision Studios has been built outside. Fields, courts, downtown streets, backroads, schools, businesses, wherever the vision took us, that’s where we created.

Now we’ve added something we’ve never had before.

THE STUDIO.

A dedicated indoor creative space with more than 8 shooting lanes, multiple backgrounds and textures, green screen, full studio lighting, custom sets and complete control over the environment from the first shot to the last.

That opens up an entirely new side of Vision Studios.

Sports Media. Travel Teams. Custom Sportraits. Media Days. Headshots. Branding. Mini Sessions. Holiday Minis. Portraits. Custom concepts. Rain, shine, summer, winter, day or night.

And we didn’t trade one for the other. Vision Studios is STILL mobile. We’ll still meet you on the field, show up at your gym, come to your school, set up at your business or chase the light outside like we always have.

We just added another gear.

Outdoor. On location. Mobile. And now, studio.

There isn’t much we can’t create anymore.

Tonight reminded me why I still love what I do. Spent several hours with Hallie chasing light, changing locations, trying different ideas, and just creating. No rushing. No checking boxes. Just taking our time and building images she'll still be proud of years from now.

Senior sessions aren't about showing up, taking a few pictures, and calling it a day. They're about capturing who someone is in this season of life before it changes forever. I think we did exactly that tonight.
