Should email services without DKIM be avoided entirely?
Not necessarily. Some systems simply don’t support DKIM. Multifunction printers and older applications are common examples. That doesn’t automatically make them unsafe or unusable.
In those cases, SPF alignment may be enough to satisfy DMARC. Another option is routing those messages through a relay that can apply DKIM on their behalf.
DKIM is a best practice, but the lack of DKIM alone doesn’t mean a service has to be ripped out.
