🐾 MEET HUDSON — A VERY SPECIAL FACILITY DOG 🐾

Valley3D recently had the incredible honor of working with a local facility dog named Hudson and his handler on one of the most meaningful projects we’ve ever taken on.

This project started with a simple idea — a custom name tag for Hudson’s service vest — and turned into something truly special.

Here’s what went into it 👇
🔹 We photographed Hudson and converted his image into a bold line art illustration
🔹 That artwork was turned into a print-ready SVG
🔹 We 3D printed a custom name tag built specifically for his service vest
🔹 And embedded a hidden RFID tag directly into the print

But that’s where this project really took the next step.

Working closely with Hudson’s handler, we gathered information about:
• Hudson’s background and training
• What a facility dog is and the role Hudson serves
• His handler and their work together
• Where Hudson was trained (Mutts With A Mission)
• A photo gallery
• Hudson’s social media accounts

We then designed a clean, easy-to-read digital information page, complete with:
✔️ Clickable links (including Mutts With A Mission)
✔️ Hudson’s Instagram
✔️ A QR code linking directly to his social media

That page was uploaded online, and the link was written directly to the RFID tag embedded inside Hudson’s name tag.

📱 With just a tap of a smartphone, anyone can instantly learn who Hudson is, the important work he does, and the organization that helped make it all possible.

This project wasn’t just about technology — it was about impact.

Hudson provides comfort, support, and assistance to people who are struggling or in need, and being trusted to create something that supports that mission means the world to us.

For Valley3D, this also marks a huge step forward — expanding what we’re capable of offering through custom design, embedded RFID technology, and meaningful, real-world applications.

A customer reached out looking for one of our Comic Book Slab Display Stands with a fully custom front nameplate — and they had a vision.

🚨 NEW MODULAR EXPANSION — IN DEVELOPMENT 🚨

We’re excited to share a sneak peek at our Diagonal Shelving Expansion, the newest addition to our Modular Display Shelving System at Valley3Dshop!

This new diagonal shelf fully integrates with our current modular system, using the same connector pieces and end cap pieces you already know. It opens the door to bold, dynamic layouts that let you display your collection in a whole new way.

⚠️ Important update:
While the diagonal shelves are complete and compatible with our existing connectors, we are still developing the angled transition pieces that will allow the diagonal shelves to connect directly into a fully horizontal shelf.

🔧 What this means for now:
✔️ Diagonal shelves connect within the modular system
✔️ Same connectors & end caps — no new hardware needed
✔️ Horizontal-to-diagonal adapters are coming soon
✔️ Diagonal shelves are currently available as a standalone diagonal kit

We believe in sharing the process as we build — and this is just one step toward giving collectors even more layout freedom.
