Phoenix Color was a proud sponsor of the 98th Annual Alsatia Mummers' Parade, where we introduced our newest team member, Johannes, the Bookworm, who was named after Johannes Gutenburg, inventor of the printing press. Our friends at HarperCollins were kind enough to let us theme our float for The Good, the Bad and the Spooky! Johannes read the book aloud to the crowd while the Bad Seed and his friend, Peanut walked along side, greeting the fans. 🐛

Phoenix is proud to be a long-time sponsor of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County! We attended their Starry Night for Kids' Sake Gala where we were graciously awarded a plaque for being one of the top fundraisers for Bowl For Kids' Sake that took place earlier this year. The Bigs and Littles shared their stories and celebrated each other. We are excited to do our part for such a wonderful organization. 👏

Our very own Adam Lane had a lot to celebrate when his mom, Charlene Lane won the "Hope Takes Flight" Award at the "Evening of Hope" event benefitting the American Cancer Society. Phoenix Color proudly sponsored the event, which was created to provide a venue to educate individuals and raise funds for programs and services that benefit cancer patients and their caregivers throughout the community. Charlene is a Nurse navigator at the John Marsh Cancer Center where her role is to guide patients throughout their treatments while also acting as a liaison between doctors and patients. Charlene was recognized for her outstanding commitment in her position where she is quick to respond to questions and even serves as a shoulder to cry on for those patients encountering their most difficult days. Congrats, Charlene!

Our 3rd annual Corn Hole Tournament is in the bag! (pun intended 🤣) This year we changed it up and did a blind draw for teams, which certainly made things interesting. The weaker teams were weeded out quickly with double elimination. It came down to Ray and Dan vs. Tim and Tom in the final round with Tim & Tom taking it all! This is Tom's second year winning; we promised him a belt if he wins again next year. 🤷🏻‍♀️

We had the absolute pleasure of attending the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards at Carnegie Hall followed by a grand dinner at the Zigfield Ballroom! It was an incredible show of talent amongst this creative group of teenagers. The students were offered inspirational words from Playwright, Branden Jacobs Jenkins and Author, Audrey Niffenegger with Tracy Morgan closing the show, sharing his own words of wisdom for these talented, young artists. We have no doubt that we will see some of their names again as they continue to grow.

The next generation of Behind the Bookshelf has officially begun! We traveled to Boston for the very first Phoenix Color "Road Show". This time, we invited multiple customers to come together at a central location for a live Component presentation and virtual plant tour. We brought with us some fun printing accoutrements like plates, blankets, dies and more! Keep an eye out for us, we just might show up in your city next! 👀 🏙

Family Fun Day 2025 did not disappoint! As a token of our gratitude and appreciation, employees and their families were invited to come together and have some fun last weekend. Club Medics provided the awesome energy, Shuman's Concessions brought all the meats, Antietam Dairy provided a sweet treat, Mirabella Took Creations painted faces and HubCity Inflatables brought some bounce house action!

We had a groovy time Bowling for Kids' Sake with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County! ☮️ This is our favorite event of the year and we set our personal best with 75 team members!🎖Looking forward to making 2026 even bigger!
