We don't talk about our research enough.
If your child has gone through an autism evaluation, you know how much rides on it. The clinician in that room is doing something extraordinarily skilled: observing, interpreting, and making judgment calls that shape a child's entire support plan.
That expertise is irreplaceable. And we never set out to replace it.
What we asked instead was a quieter question: during a standard evaluation session, could we also capture objective biometric data from the audio, video, and natural gaze behavior already present in the room?
No changes to the session. No new equipment the child has to interact with. No extra burden on the family.
What we found is that this kind of naturalistic, non-invasive analysis can quantify 140+ social-communication behaviors in children ages 2 to 12, producing objective measurements that sit alongside the clinician's observation rather than competing with it.
More data for the people doing the hard work of getting kids the right diagnosis at the right time.
