Yesterday, our Support Team participated in a training session centered around a real-world case study—a challenging 3rd party payment processing issue that had previously bogged us down.

We started by reviewing the "Facts of the Case" together, then ran an exercise to evaluate what we did well and where we could improve. This kind of reflection is critical to our mission of continuously improving both our processes and the customer experience.

Some key takeaways included:
👉 Building additional structural safeguards and warnings into the system to reduce the chance a user can make the same error in the future.

👉 Emphasizing the importance of understanding the customer’s ultimate goal, not just what they’re specifically asking for. Often, the best solution requires us to think outside the box, as there are usually multiple ways to solve the same problem.

We’re proud to say that our response times were strong, and we kept the customer informed throughout the process and ultimately solved the issue—something that deserves recognition.

Our ultimate goal is always a positive customer outcome, regardless of whether the initial issue stems from user error, a third party, or our own software. The key is working collaboratively and productively to find the best solution.

Huge shout-out to the MDS Customer Support Team for always getting the job done—sometimes under the pressure of tight deadlines and demanding customers (we wouldn't have it any other way 😉). Your dedication and resilience make a real difference. We love New York and the energy it brings to what we do!
