A phishing email you'll probably see this month:

"Your Microsoft 365 password expires today. Click here to keep your account active."

It'll look real. It'll have a Microsoft logo. The link will go to something that looks like login.microsoft.com but isn't.

Three quick rules that beat most phishing attacks:

1. Microsoft (and Google, and your bank) will never ask you to "verify" your password through an email link. Ever.
2. Hover over any link before clicking. If the actual URL doesn't match who it claims to be from — delete.
3. When in doubt, open a new browser tab and type the real site address yourself. Never log in from an email link.
