Today was a tough one at Sip as we said farewell to our amazing manager Felix. After 5 years, it’s definitely going to feel a little weird not seeing him around. Felix has been so much more than just our manager, he’s been our barista, server, handyman, problem-solver, and the person who would somehow always end up helping wherever he was needed.

He worked his butt off, always showed up for his team, and somehow managed to bring a little laughter into the craziest shifts. He has a way of making people feel comfortable and welcome, and we know our regulars are going to miss seeing their favorite emo barista around just as much as we will.

There are way too many memories, inside jokes, busy shifts, random conversations, after shift debriefs on the bench, and laughs to fit into one post. Felix has been such a big part of what makes Sip feel like Sip, and we’re so thankful for all the time, hard work, and heart he’s given this place over the years.

Felix, we’re so lucky to have had you as part of our little Sip family and we’re going to miss you a whole lot. Thank you for being you, for always jumping in wherever you were needed, and for making the days a little brighter and bearable. We hope this next chapter is full of good things and new adventures. You’ll always have a place here at Sip, don’t be a stranger! 🖤☕️✨
