Interested in filmmaking, video production, and digital storytelling? There are still spots available in the PM session of Media Communications at Careerline Tech Center, but these openings are not guaranteed and may fill quickly!

Media Communications is centered on storytelling through video. Students learn the entire production process, from planning and scripting to filming and post-production. Throughout the year, you'll create a variety of projects ranging from 30-second productions to 15-minute films while developing skills in collaboration, time management, and creative problem-solving.

Students gain hands-on experience using state-of-the-art equipment and our professional sound room, working on both individual and team-based projects as the level of challenge and creativity grows throughout the year.

If you're ready to bring stories to life through video, now is the time to explore Media Communications! Visit careerlinetech.org for more information on how to enroll.

25 years. Countless careers. One strong plumbing community. 🛠️

Today we're celebrating the 25th anniversary of CTC's Plumbing Program with lunch provided by Plumbing Advisor Chuck Berghorst. We're excited to welcome current students and area plumbers as we recognize the partnerships, mentorship, and dedication that have helped our program thrive for a quarter century.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey!

On May 28–29, our Agriculture & Animal Sciences students took to the water for another year of competitive fishing! 🎣

On May 28, five students boarded the charter boat Betty Lou to compete in the GHOC Legends Tournament. They caught fish, gained valuable experience, and had a great time on the water.

The following day, three students and Hannah W. competed in the Ladies Tournament, bringing in even more fish and continuing to build their skills.

While our teams didn't place in either tournament, they represented our program with pride and determination. This marks the 10th year that our CTC has fielded a fishing team as part of our Natural Resources program. We're proud of these students for their
hard work, sportsmanship, and commitment to learning through hands-on experiences!

A few weeks ago, our Electrical program had the opportunity to welcome members of their advisory board into the classroom! ⚡🔧

These industry professionals evaluated our students on the skills and knowledge they’ve developed throughout the year, giving them the chance to put their training to the test in a real-world setting.

We’re proud of the hard work and growth our students continue to show as they prepare for future careers in the electrical field!
