A recent article from The Maine Campus shared that some students are concerned about replacing blue light phones with a safety app. One student said, “Not everyone has their phone on them or charged, so having something physically there helps people feel safer.”
This highlights something important. Blue light systems do not have to be removed to stay relevant. When they are upgraded and connected with modern tools like apps, cameras, and cloud alerts, campuses can offer stronger and more dependable safety options for everyone.
