As our longtime friends at Community Food Bank of San Benito County continue their bold journey, we stand in admiration of Sarah Nordwick and her team for all of their accomplishments on behalf of the food bank and the community it serves.

Dear Neighbor,

As I close out my tenure here at Community FoodBank, I feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. Serving this incredible community and leading this wonderful organization has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my professional life.

Together, we have accomplished remarkable milestones - the most recent occurred today when Community FoodBank received its Green Business Certification!

I want to extend my deepest thanks to all of you – our community. Your unwavering support, generosity, and dedication have been the backbone of our efforts to combat hunger and provide essential services to those in need.

Our staff – the heart of the organization working tirelessly to distribute food to a record number of customers each month – over 28,000.

Our donors and partners – your generosity has fueled our operations and empowered us to expand services to meet the growing need. Your trust and investment have been pivotal in our growth and success.

Our customers – thank you for trusting us enough to assist you in putting food on your table.

Our Board of Directors – the people who dedicate time behind the scenes to helping the larger vision come to fruition.

Our volunteers – showing up rain or shine to ensure that our neighbors have access to nutritious food and vital resources - totaling over 1,500 hours each month.

Food Banks are experiencing record growth, far surpassing what was seen during the pandemic. Please consider supporting in whatever way you are comfortable with. Every dollar, every like, every share, every hour—these are all pieces of the puzzle that make Community FoodBank what it is.

Community FoodBank will continue doing amazing things, and I look forward to seeing what comes next!
