Long before sunrise, thousands across Hawaiʻi come together with one shared purpose: to help light the way for one another.
That’s what makes the HLTA 47th Annual Visitor Industry Charity Walk so meaningful to us. It’s more than a walk. It’s a reminder that Hawaiʻi has always been strongest when people choose compassion, service, and aloha.
“ʻAʻohe hana nui ke alu ʻia.”
No task is too big when done together.
In a time when so much can feel uncertain, events like this remind us that one thing we can always count on is each other.
There’s something powerful about neighbors and ‘ohana gathering together before dawn, trusting that the sun will rise again. Sometimes even the smallest acts of kindness can help brighten the darkest moments.
The spirit of laulima, many hands working together, could be felt throughout the entire morning, from illuminating the way before sunrise to creating pathways that helped guide more members of our community forward. Mahalo to for helping bring that spirit to life.
We were honored to help provide solar power for this year’s event and grateful to stand alongside everyone helping keep this beautiful tradition alive.
Even more meaningful, 100% of the funds raised stay here in Hawaiʻi, supporting local organizations serving our keiki, kūpuna, families, and ‘ohana most in need.
Mahalo for allowing us to be a small part of something that reflects the true heart of our islands. 🤍
