Perhaps you’ll craft invitations and menu cards for an intimate dinner party. Whatever you choose to make, modern calligraphy offers you a way to express yourself, and connect with those nearest and dearest to you.

Explore your creative side - no artistic experience necessary! Join me for this beginner level classs where I provide one-on-one, hands-on instruction in modern calligraphy, using the brush pen. Everything you need to get started is included, and you get to take your supplies home so the creativity can continue long after our time together ends.

This workshop is held at the beautiful Salvage Sisters and Son retail shop in Boise.

I had so much fun designing these custom candle labels for ’s line of scented candles.

Each yummy scent combo was hand drawn and made into a repeat pattern for three different sizes. I wanted to capture the essence of each scent with simple but bold graphics, pairing them with fun color combos.

How cute are these tins? Perfect for a hostess gift 🎁 or when you need something portable for traveling. ✈️

Have you been to Idaho Made recently?

I had the honor of working with the owner/management team at Idaho Made with their rebranding efforts! They have been in business since 2010 and were ready for a new look to go along with the steady growth and exciting changes that are currently happening.

We met regularly for the past few months, planning, setting goals, meeting milestones, and along with the expertise of local vendors to make all of this come together.

We also worked on Idaho Made’s core values and strengthened their messaging and brand consistency in all of their marketing materials.

It has been such a rewarding experience for me personally and professionally. Thank you to Idaho Made’s management team , , for trusting me to work with you on this huge endeavor.

We couldn’t have done this without the talents of strategic messaging by , our local printers , , , and for the beautiful sandwich board sign.

I’ve been working on some new designs which will make their debut at the BAM Art in the Park, happening this weekend Sept. 10-12. Come visit me in booth #52 on Rembrandt Road, behind BAM’s Sculpture Garden.

As a fun surprise, I’m adding a sticker inside several of these cards, randomly, because…why not? 😊

I’ll have new stickers, prints, totes, and more!

Thanks to my favorite local printers Hi-Tech Color, Alexander Clark, , , for keeping this girl happy. 🙋🏻‍♀️

Looking forward to meeting some new faces, catching up with friends, eating lots of fair food (looking at you , 🥔) and lots of shopping from local and regional artists.

Oh, hello! It’s been a while since I’ve posted and introduced myself so I wanted to pop in and say hello!

I’m Lisa, owner and designer behind Studio G.

I like to start each day with a moment of gratitude for my health, my family, and for the opportunity to devote myself fully to my art and small business. I’ve met so many amazing people along the way and I strive to use as many local resources when possible so we can help support each other and keep things local. One of my goals is to highlight as many local businesses that I use and work with, so we can share the love.

Thank you, for my headshot. I’m more comfortable behind the camera but Sheila made me feel so relaxed, and since this was taken at one of my favorite places , right before my modern calligraphy workshop. Thank you, Catherine for always opening up your beautiful shop for my workshops, with your warmth, graciousness, and creating such an inspiring space for our community.
