Customer's PC was turned off during a BIOS upgrade, resulting in a dead motherboard. We discussed moving everything to a new case and motherboard; reusing RAM, CPU, NVMe and GPU. We saved everything on his hard drive, updated all new drivers, scanned it for virus and spyware, picked up all Windows 11 updates. One day service. The surprise was the 550w PSU wires were too short so we replaced it with a 750w. The 1 fan AIO did not fit on the new motherboard, so we replaced it with a medium duty air cooler. All done.

This gaming PC came in late yesterday, done today. It is unusual to have 2 items faulty (99% of the time, it is 1 item, unless lightning struck). The customer doesn't want upgrades, just get it working. We found no virus, just spyware. Picked up a few Windows 11 updates and various software updates. Rearranged wiring to get away from fans and moved most wires to the back if possible. Stress tested fine. He reimbursed us for parts at wholesale/mail order prices for CPU and PSU, plus $200 for our time. It was quite tricky to get it working, we knew it was PSU, suspected motherboard problem until CPU was confirmed.

Shipper busted the customer's side glass, rip the GPU from the PCIe slot, deformed the case and damaged the NVMe 1TB. We saved the PSU, CPU and CPU cooler. We provided new case, 32GB ddr4, rtx 5070, 1TB NVMe and installation. He will be glad to get back to gaming again. Same day finish.
