October 14, 2025 Windows 10 end of support. Microsoft will keep the operating system in service for a monthly fee. They have made it nearly impossible to upgrade to Windows 11 due to a hardware check prior to installation/upgrade. It’s a money grab for them and their partners to sell you a new computer or pay monthly fees. If the computer is three years or older it will not pass the hardware check ie: Secure Boot, Trusted Platform Module (TPM) and a intel processor 5th generation or newer.
