We had the opportunity to tour the SEED Innovation Hub in Farmville. Longwood SBDC

What an incredible resource for entrepreneurs, students, makers, and small businesses in our region.

From computer labs and digital media studios to 3D printers, CNC equipment, sewing machines, and makerspaces, SEED provides access to tools and resources that help turn ideas into reality.

As a small business, we always enjoy seeing spaces that encourage creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship right here in Southside Virginia.

Thank you to the SEED team for the tour. We left inspired and with plenty of ideas! We can't wait to work with you on some projects.

A trip to Blackstone today!

We stopped by The Kitchen Table LLC to install graphics on their new trailer.

The owners knew exactly what they wanted: simple, clean, and easy to recognize. We love projects like this because sometimes the best design is the one that lets the brand speak for itself.

Just in time for the Taste of Crewe Food Truck Rodeo this Friday! If you're headed to Veterans Memorial Park on June 26, be sure to stop by and check them out.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads who own small businesses.

The ones who work long hours, wear a dozen different hats, answer calls after dinner, and somehow still make time for their families.

The ones teaching their kids the value of hard work, problem-solving, and what it means to build something from the ground up.

As a family business, we've been lucky to watch our own kids work alongside their dad and learn those lessons firsthand.

Today, we're celebrating all the fathers who are building businesses, supporting their families, and setting an example every day.

A few weeks ago, we installed the big sign for Petal Perfection Florist.

This week, we were back to give the storefront sign a refresh.

Fresh delivery this morning!

A big thank you to Saylers Creek Company for getting this lumber to us so quickly.

Right now, it just looks like a pile of boards, but over the next few weeks it will become:

📬 9 HOA mailboxes

🏡 Several custom real estate signs

🪧 A custom post and panel sign

And a few other projects we can't wait to share.

We love seeing the transformation from a stack of lumber to finished projects, and we're looking forward to getting started.

We make the sign. You make it look good.

One of the best parts of what we do is seeing how our customers make a project their own after we're finished.

Soap Stone Ridge LLC recently added landscaping around their sign, and it completely transformed the entrance.

One thing we've learned in the sign business: you never know what you're going to find.

Earlier yesterday, we got a call that a stop sign was "leaning a bit" in one of the neighborhoods we service.

Since we didn't want it falling over and damaging someone's property, we headed out around 7:00 PM last night to take a look.

The first photo shows what the sign is supposed to look like.

What we found was a little different.

At some point, something hit the sign hard enough to knock the assembly loose. Instead of reporting it, someone apparently got creative and wedged pieces of lumber inside the post to help keep it standing.

Thankfully, the HOA noticed something wasn't quite right and gave us a call before it became a bigger problem.

Unfortunately, the damage may go beyond a simple repair.

Just another day at Outpost Signs. We never know if we're heading out for a quick adjustment, a repair, or a mystery that needs solving. 😂

Most people think a logo is just one file.
