A quick update from our Outpost family. Small business owners aren’t always great at putting their own health first, and this week that caught up with Kelly. He’s been in the hospital since Thursday, and we’re hoping he’ll be home soon.

We’ve had to push a few of our larger installs, and we’ve been in touch with the customers affected. Our Hometown Heroes kickoff is still on track. Outpost Signs is still open, and the kids and I are using everything Kelly has taught us to keep the wheels turning.

Thanks for your patience, your kind messages, and for keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers. We appreciate it. 🤍

There aren't many people getting rich in the sign business. Most of us do it because we love what we do. Combine that with loving the community you call home, and well... you get us. ❤️

Last night was a perfect example!

16 pounds of popcorn kernels, a gallon of popcorn oil, and lemonade that ran out in the first hour! 🍿😂 We served well over 300 people and were so busy we barely remembered to take pictures.

But we sure enjoyed seeing everyone, catching up with old friends, making new ones, and checking out all those costumes!

Thanks for another great night, Amelia! We wouldn't have missed it for the world. ❤️🎃

And a special thank you to Ms. Watley, the middle school librarian, for inviting us back again this year and for taking some pictures when we couldn't!

Oh, and Ms. Watley... we are REALLY sorry about the mess! 🤣🍿

Check out our new Halloween shirts! We’ll be showing them off tonight! 🎃👻 Come see us at the middle school trick-or-treating, say hello, and show us those costumes. We will be in the library like last year.

We even brought enough popcorn for the parents, because we know that baby can’t eat popcorn. No need to pretend it’s for them! 😉 Hope to see you there!

We're creating a special Veterans Day display at Amelia Academy, November 4–18, honoring the men and women who have served our country.

Seeing these signs in person is exactly why we wanted to do this project!

Outpost Signs is providing the popcorn at the ACMS Trunk the Halls!

Grab the kids, throw on those costumes, and come see us Wednesday, October 28, from 5–7 PM!

Amelia's loss is Powhatan's gain! 🩷

We're sad to see Paisley Kate's Boutique leave Amelia, but we're excited for her next chapter!

We recently helped get her new storefront sign ready for the move, just in time for her grand opening on October 31st.

It's always special getting to be part of another small business's journey, especially one from our own community.

Amelia is going to miss you, Paisley Kate's! We're cheering you on and wishing you nothing but success in Powhatan! 💚
