Amie’s Essentials is a body and hair care brand that focuses on honest ingredients imported and inspired by Africa.

Her brand identity has elements of what she offers through symbolism.

The icon/sub mark for Amie’s is the continent of Africa to represent where products are imported from,

an outline of a woman’s face to represent body and hair care,

and floral elements that speak to honest and clean ingredients.

The rebirth of my passion for branding began here…

In 2021, I booked clients and I loved every. single. project. I touched.

In 2022, I was finding that I didn’t have the desire to continue designing how I was “told” to design.

In all honesty, I didn’t want to keep LIVING how I was told to live so I changed things.

I left social media, I left Ohio (hey H-Town), and I left my beliefs of what a “design studio” SHOULD be like ✌🏾

I gave it all up and discovered me.

The Mia + Willow project was done in 2022 during my break and I was scared to showcase it because “it’s too colorful”…

…but she wanted to revealed. She is the inner me that doesn’t want to hide behind the aesthetic I love to channel and fuse into brand strategies and identities.

Today, I’m excited to showcase this passion project as a testament to how I plan to move forward:

No noise.
No imposter syndrome.
All me.
