🚨 HVAC Emergency Reality Check...
Picture this: It's 11 PM on a Tuesday. Someone's heat just went out, and it's 20°F outside. They Google "emergency HVAC repair" and land on your website.
Within 5 seconds, they need to know:
✅ You handle emergencies (not just scheduled service)
✅ You're available right now (not just business hours)
✅ You serve their area
✅ You're trustworthy and licensed
✅ How to reach you immediately
If ANY of these aren't crystal clear on mobile, they'll call your competitor instead.
I tested 30 local HVAC websites last week pretending to be an emergency customer. The results were eye-opening:
😬 Only 23% clearly stated 24/7 emergency availability
😬 47% had no emergency messaging on the homepage
😬 61% buried emergency info in service pages
😬 38% showed no trust signals (licenses, reviews, years in business)
The websites that DID show clear emergency messaging? Those contractors are probably getting calls all night while their competitors wonder why the phone isn't ringing.
Emergency customers don't have time to hunt through your site looking for clues. They need immediate confidence that you're the right choice.
Quick question: If someone lands on your mobile homepage at midnight, is it obvious you handle emergencies? 🤔
